My theory is that the same “feminine,” intuitive ability women have to be understanding about people’s emotions, in the hands of a Narcissist* woman, becomes a weapon to mind-fuck a man to the point of total annihilation of his soul.
Hide this evil weapon in the body of a woman who looks sweet, pretty and sexy, combine it with the Narcissist’s love and skill for seducing people sexually, and a Narcissist woman’s ability to act soft and loving plus be a Damsel in Distress who needs a strong man to be her Knight in Shining Armour, and….
…it’s a wonder any man survives a relationship with a Narcissist woman without ending up in a padded cell.
Evolutionary psychologists have shown us that men are wired to protect women and children. A fragile woman in need has a primal, visceral effect on a man. When a psychopathic NPD woman uses this to manipulate a man, it blinds him. And then it destroys him.
Luckily, there is an increasing number of therapists who understand Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and the Psychology Today directory of therapists has an NPD filter to help you find one in your location. There is also an increasing number of online support groups exclusively for men who are, or have been, in a relationship with a female narcissist. Many men create a new social media account with a fake name to use in support groups. This helps them feel safer talking about themselves and also helps prevent the she-devil in their life from stalking them online.
Guys, if you don’t know what Narcissistic Personality Disorder is, but you were drawn to this article because you saw the words “women” and “mind-fucker” in the same title and it reminded you of your marriage/relationship, I encourage you to research both Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder. These two disorders have a lot in common but they are also different in important ways. One thing they have in common is that partners with these disorders can make your life a living hell. Women with NPD or BPD can be irresistible as damsels in distress.
