DOING THE RIGHT THING PROTECTS YOU FROM GUILT 

You cannot control how people respond to your words and actions. 

You can only control what YOU do. 

You can do the right thing. 

If you’re not sure what the right thing is, check with a therapist.

If you’re a Giver and the other person is making you feel guilt, check with a therapist.

Figure out what the psychologically healthy, ethical right thing is, and do it.

When you know you have done the right thing, you don’t have to feel guilt or stress about the other person’s response. They are on their path. You are on yours.

Allow them to be who they are and where they are on their journey.

Allow yourself to be who you are and where you are on your journey.
